Đây là kỹ năng quan trọng cần có đối với nhân sự ở mọi lĩnh vực. Từ các chính trị gia, chuyên gia kinh tế, tham gia đàm phán các hiệp định thương mại, các chính sách vĩ mô; các doanh nhân đàm phán hợp đồng kinh tế, đến quản lý nhân sự đàm phán với người lao động về mức tiền lương v.v.
